Often called the “mask of pregnancy,” melasma is triggered in women due to hormonal fluctuations, but can affect anyone. The common remedies for melasma usually produce only modest results. Fraxel can leave your skin glowing and evenly toned like baby skin.
Acne scars are incredibly difficult to treat. Often a result of severe acne during adolescence, acne scars should not plague your adulthood. Without the downtime of a more aggressive dermabrasion or CO2 laser resurfacing procedure, Fraxel may smooth out even the deepest of scars.

Q: Does stress really have an affect on your skin?
A: Stress can actually lead to blemishes and clogged pores due to increased sebum production. Certainly, stress causes premature aging like fine lines and wrinkles. When, your immune system is compromised, your skin’s ability to heal, renew, and replenish is impaired. I recommend monthly spa facials to de-stress your skin. Some products will actually help calm and relieve your skin from external stresses like weather and traveling. Look for something with extra moisturizing qualities. |
Q: Is there a laser treatment for cellulite?
A: Currently, we are one of the only offices testing and treating with a cellulite-reducing laser. Treatment with this laser can yield significant reduction of cellulite dimpling, smoothing and contouring of skin surface, and possible loss of body mass. Some reports include a loss of several inches!
