ClearTouch Acne Clearance System
Intense pulsed light (IPL) system sessions in a series, new technology that kills bacteria, to clear existing and prevent future acne breakouts as a first-line option before resorting to oral medication. A full facial treatment takes about 10 minutes.

Photo Facial and Photo Body
Gentle intense pulsed light (IPL) treatments even out pigment and improve the appearance of sun damaged and aged skin, as well as reduce redness and flushing from rosacea or broken capillaries (telangiectasias) on face or body
Downtime: The treated area may have slight swelling, appear a little more flushed and with capillaries more visible for a day or two. Brown spots may darken before they fall off.
Number of treatments: The usual course of treatment is usually 3 to 5 sessions done at 2 to 4 week intervals.
Photodynamic Therapy
This brand new technique pairs Levulan (levulinic amino acid) with laser or IPL to remove specific facial precancers (actinic keratoses) ; to treat active acne; or to rejuvenate the entire face. This treatment results in less oily skin, textural improvement and pigmentary consistency.
Downtime: 4 to 5 days
Number of treatments: One to 2 for facial precancers, 2 to 4 for acne.
Chemical Peels
Depending on their strength, these peels may require more recovery time than the lighter ones given by our aestheticians.
Glycolic Acid Peel
20 to 40% solution, reduces or eliminates fine lines and wrinkles, lightens brown spots (from the sun, due to acne or melasma), smooths leathery texture, clears acne blemishes, and brightens skin on face and body. Results last from one to 3 months.

TCA Peel
Trichloroacetic (TCA), in a 10% to 30% solution, reduces or eliminates fine lines and wrinkles, diminishes scarring (from acne, chickenpox or surgery), fades brown spots (from the sun, post acne or melasma), clears acne blemishes, and brightens skin on face and body.
Downtime: Depending on the concentration, expect redness and swelling for 3 to 4 days followed by peeling for another week or so. Full healing usually takes 7 to 10 days.
Number of treatments: One, the results from a single treatment can last for years.
Injection
Mild cortisone injections into an individual inflamed or enlarged cyst will help clear it immediately. Ideal for the ‘emergency pimple’.
